Overview

BridgeSat

 

BridgeSat is currently seeking a Finance and Contracts consultant.  The ideal candidate will have 8+ years experience working as a CFO in the high-tech or aerospace industry.  Experience working with early-stage companies is required.  Exposure and previously presented to venture capital investors is a plus.  This will be a 6-month contract (approx 20-30 hours per week) with possibility to extend.  

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial model of Bridgesat
  • Work with and support Bridgesat investors. This support may involve travel to investor locations.
  • Develop investor presentation material as needed
  • Develop business models for individual investors, as needed
  • Support development of QoS model for Bridgesat
  • Develop pricing program working with Business Development for Bridgesat services and hardware
  • Develop contracts with customers, partners, investors as needed. Work with Bridgesat legal staff as needed.
  • Advise on government programs for FAR related issues as they relate to Bridgesat US government business development and program execution.
  • Provide proposal support. This task would be a lower priority over other items identified above.
  • Visit to Bridgesat Denver office at least once per week. This ensures some informal communications is maintained with staff
  • Travel will be required to support financial and contract discussions (all expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with Bridgesat travel policy)
  • Work location - Work can be done independently as determined by contractor. However, when activity in the Denver office requires contractor participation, it is expected contractor will attend. 

Qualifications

  • 8+ years finance and contracts expereince, ideally working as a CFO for a small tech or aerospace company
  • Experience working with early-stage companies
  • Exposure and previously presented to venture capital investors is a plus
  • Federal government experience a plus
