    The Manager, Development Program - Cloud Based Platform will ensure Federated Wireless brings high value to CBSD Operators by ensuring the growing ecosystem of wireless systems interoperate with our Spectrum controller. This position is a hybrid role for an individual that has strong development and technical skills as well as the desire to build relationships with our OEM's and partners at a service level. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multiple internal and external organizations to achieve these goals, as well as provide leadership and management to a team of Integration Engineers. To excel in this position, you must bring creativity in developing new solutions and obtain the ability to execute consistently with quality. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast paced, expanding ecosystem, to seek broad positive impact and achieve results.


    • Collaborate with Product Development to define and advance the high-level roadmap and direction for the Partner program.
    • Build relationships with OEM's and Partners in the program to ensure effective communication, early availability of interfaces to the members, provide implementation support, and ensure roadmap transparency across OEM and Federated Wireless Products.
    • Provide leadership and management to Engineers in the team.
    • Participate in the Development process of our cloud based controller, bringing requirements of any new capabilities derived from design and integration work with OEM Partners
    • Create requirements, designs, and processes needed implement the Interoperability Test system, Web portal and API interfaces, and support tools . 
    • Expand the Program as new products and market segments are introduced into our portfolio, and drive efficiency and scalability into the process
    • Execute Interoperability testing with OEMs to meet quality, capability, and efficiency goals, for Federated’s web services (APIs).
    • Stay aligned with WinnForum and CBRS-A standards and alignment to Federated Wireless releases
    • Integrate processes into key Federated tools: JIRA, Atlassian Service Desk and
    • Responsible for budget management, resource planning, and cost analysis for the Partner Program


    • BS or MS STEM related education, with 5-7 years of experience in software based systems providing wireless, control, telecommunications, or high availability systems.
    • 1+ years of software development experience in Cloud based software services in wireless, sensor systems, analytics, or control system applications highly desirable.
    • Experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and creation of test plans, building customized test tools and test harness for web services.
    • Experience in providing Technical Support to customers or partners.
    • Experience with Agile development process, API development, RESTful, UNIX, JSON/JAVA, Python, TCP/https, AWS S3, Kibana and certificate based authentication systems. Development tools including JIRA and Service Desk.
    • Previous experience managing a team, providing project direction, technical leadership, and career development.
    • Ability to understand detailed design documents and assist partners with integration, hands on troubleshooting of JSON / JAVA message exchanges, and service implementation options
    • Structured problem solving skills, troubleshooting, and communication skills
    • Strong sense of ownership. High degree of personal initiative.
    • Strong written and oral communication
