    **This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of U.S. regulations.**

     

    As a member of HawkEye 360’s Product Team, the Product Owner (PO) will be responsible for executing the vision for products and is responsible for communicating these visions to the scrum teams. The PO is responsible for the successful implementation of HawkEye 360 products and product features from concept to end of life. This includes being responsible for the design, usability, quality and delivery of products and features.

    The PO will work with Architects, Product Marketing and Development teams to ensure that business, quality and functional goals are met with each product release. The PO is the key decision maker on priorities and design decisions and works to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned at each stage of the development lifecycle. The PO understands both the engineering and business side of the product release and is ultimately responsible for representing the end user’s needs.

    The ideal candidate will be a seasoned PO who can thrive in an agile environment and apply best practices from established product management organizations. Reporting to the Director of Product, the PO will use their strong track record of helping solve market problems by enhancing world class products and building new ones.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    We’ll Expect You To…  

    • Collaborate with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to translate business requirements into user stories for the development teams to implement.
    • Develop and maintain one or more appropriately prioritized backlogs of user stories for implementation.
    • Work with product managers and technical leads to determine scope and priorities for product development cycles.
    • Work with development teams to ensure that they understand the vision for the product and are designing great features for our customers.
    • Develop appropriately detailed specifications for product features so that they are clearly understood by the development teams.
    • Inspire and motivate the development teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency.
    • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally, and as the primary technical contact for queries related to the product.
    • Work with key stakeholders across the company to ensure successful product releases.
    • Support product and sales teams with product demonstrations to customers.
    • Develop product documentation with clarity for a broad range of customers.

    Qualifications

    You’ll Need to Have…

    • 2 - 8 years of professional experience as a PO or product manager.
    • Thorough understanding of product management techniques and methods.
    • Outstanding leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Team player who brings a sense of positive energy and the ability to influence, inspire and motivate cross-functional partners across the organization.

     

    We’d Like to See…

    • Experience delivering products in a SaaS environment.
    • Technical degree in software development or relevant field.
