    Federated Wireless’ Spectrum Controller, which delivers software-defined spectrum through a cloud-native Spectrum Access System (SAS), protects Federal incumbents with a redundant network of Environmental Sensing Capability (ESC) sensors, and provides a robust set of lifecycle management tools with real-time visibility for optimizing and monetizing Citizens Broadband Radio Services (CBRS).


    The Role: 

    Federated Wireless is seeking a Director of Digital Marketing to drive our marketing strategy into key market segments in order to accelerate sales. The successful candidate will have a broad digital marketing/account-based marketing background in planning, organizing and executing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the Federated Wireless sales team within specific, targeted accounts. Experience with promoting technical solutions in a B2B environment is a requirement. Experience with one or more of our target audiences is a plus: Mobile Network Operators, Cable Operators, Managed Service Providers, Wireless ISPs, and/or Enterprises.


    • Define and execute an account-based marketing strategy to increase the demand for Federated Wireless solutions by improving scale and reach, partnering with Product Management and Corporate Marketing to distill vision into simple and differentiated market messaging
    • Create annual and quarterly digital marketing plans and goals for targeted sales accounts and contacts that focus on accelerating existing opportunities
    • Identify target audiences/influencers within key market segments and create a diverse marketing mix to reach each audience, integrating digital marketing, events, and social media
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive account profiles and target personas, and oversee a database of named contacts to align marketing and sales in defining the target audience required to achieve account goals
    • Work with sales to identify gaps in key personas and contact information within strategic accounts and develop data and insight strategy to add key personas and contacts within accounts
    • Develop a metrics/analytics program to demonstrate measureable return on marketing investment and optimize the impact of marketing activities
    • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes
    • Work with an outsourced AR/PR firm to execute the campaign and show results
    • Interface with sales to determine sales enablement needs, and work with Corporate and Product Marketing to develop tools, programs in a box, training and content
    • Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities including regional and local programs


    • Minimum of 7-10 year’s experience in a high-tech B2B demand generation, ABM, or field marketing role
    • Best in class marketing, demand generation, and channel experience with a B2B hi-tech company.  Experience with wireless, software, SaaS, or Cloud is a plus
    • Proven track record executing innovative and multi-part event and demand generation ABM programs for a technical audience
    • Familiarity with the technical sales cycle and how to employ marketing communication strategies to nurture leads, drive adoption, and accelerate growth
    • Experience building, launching and reporting on campaigns using tools such as Salesforce and/or Hubspot, Eloqua, Marketo
    • Flexible and able to quickly adapt as organization and market needs shift
    • Strong leadership, communication and influence skills, strong team-building and team player characteristics
    • Passion for measurement, metrics, and continuous improvement across the organization
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or comparable education/experience
